SCRS Quick Tips: Establish Visual Controls with Parts Staging Areas

Today Mike talks a bit about processes to help ensure your parts are correct and ready for the repairs at hand. Staging areas create a mechanism for visual controls where anyone in the business can know what stage of readiness for repair that vehicle is in, based on the location of the parts cart. Talk through the journey from receiving and mirror matching, to repair authorization, to refinish and completion, with some optional staging areas for jobs paused for authorization.
