How to setup Stellarium to control a telescope using EQMOD / EQASCOM

This is a quick guide to setting up Stellarium to control your telescopes mount, using EQMod / EQASCOM. Click! Show More...

** Connect mount and power it up before starting the setup **
Note:
For this guide Due to not having my mount connected to my computer. I have set it to eqmod_sim.exe. With a the Mount Connected, to setup the driver for your mount, you need
to keep it set to eqmod.exe

Requirements:
You will need to download and install  the following in this order:
1. ASCOM Platform

2. EQMod.

3. Drivers for your mount,

Please Note:
To connect your computer/laptop directly to the mount you will need a
Hitecastro EQDIR cable for your mount.
Using this cable removes the need of the handset, as your laptop will
be the handset.
