Australian industry participation in the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program

The F-35A Joint Strike Fighter will deliver a fifth-generation capability that transforms the way we operate in the modern battlespace. The Program also delivers opportunities for Australian industry.

Did you know that there are Australian-built components on every F-35 aircraft produced to date? The cumulative total of Australian F-35 production contracts to date has reached over AU$1.2 billion. Over 50 Australian companies have shared in this success, with more than 2,400 jobs created.

Production volume for the F-35 will continue to increase, with Australian industry involvement expected to exceed AU$2 billion by 2023.
