bpmNEXT 2014: Combining Process Modeling and Enterprise Architecture, Gero Decker, Signavio

Many IT organizations use an enterprise architecture (EA) perspective in addition to a process perspective. We will demonstrate a collaborative tool for process modeling and EA that lets users model different EA viewpoints in addition to business processes, with full integration between BPMN and Archimate.   Signavio is the first to apply Gartner's notion of "Business Process Analysis for the masses" to EA. Users can sketch out IT changes in collaborative sandboxes, understand the process impact and evaluate alternatives.

Gero Decker is founder and CEO of Signavio, a BPM software vendor specializing in business process modeling and analysis. Gero holds a MSc degree in Software Engineering and a PhD in Business Process Management from  Hasso-Plattner-Institute, Germany.
