Gdynia - a city made of the sea and dreams. It is one of the youngest cities in Poland. 150-200 years ago it was just a small fishing village, and its inhabitants at that time probably did not realize that this quiet town would turn into a a modern port city (which was granted city rights only in 1926, i.e. relatively recently).
Gdynia, together with Gdańsk and Sopot, make up the famous Tri-City.
 Each of these cities is different and unique in its otherness. Gdynia is associated with a port, freedom, space and modernity. Gdańsk is mainly about history and sightseeing. On the other hand, Sopot, at least in the eyes of the locals, is a city of parties, art and entertainment. Of course, all three cities are connected by the beach and the sea. Both in Gdynia, Gdańsk and Sopot, you can lie on the soft sand and swim in the sea in the summer.
🐟 Market halls
The complex of historic market halls in Gdynia, built in the 1930s between the wars, is one of Europe's most interesting architectural projects in the constructivist trend. The Market Halls in Gdynia, as a pearl of Polish modernism, are also on the route of the Gdynia Modernism Route.
There are over 220 commercial pavilions with a diverse range of products.
🐟 Pier in Orłowo - Orłowo is one of the most beautiful districts of Gdynia. However, the pier in Orłowo, in the immediate vicinity of the famous cliff, makes this place truly magical. Orłowo is often compared to Sopot and the former definitely captivates with its naturalness and tranquility compared to the bustle of Sopot.
