Check out the Worlds Largest Hourglass at the Nima Sand Museum (仁摩サンドミュージアム) in Ohda, Shimane. The hourglass flips over at the end/beginning of every year counting down the time of one year.The museum also has many different exhibits on sand that visitors can interact with and don't forget to hear the singing sand for yourself! 😃👂🏻🎶
They also offer admission discounts to foreigners, just show them your passport or residence card at the ticket office.
