It can be a difficult
It can be a difficult task to get everyone on board with data collection. Both special education and general education teachers already have so much on their plates, data on IEP goals and supports might seem - to some - like just another thing to do.
But if a student has an IEP, the team has to work together to collect data on all parts of the IEP. This is not the sole responsibility of the special education teacher or case manager.
In this mini training, I share how I have made data collection as simple as checking a box for my fellow IEP team members. I, also, share how I collaborate with my professional peers throughout the school year and multiple IEP processes... ensuring collaboration happens.
