STC 3008 for seed starting heat mat controller

I am using an STC 3008 as a controller for my seed starting heat mats. With one controller I get two outputs for two different heating mats. Included in the video (at time 1:25) are some diagrams for the wiring and settings for the controller. I originally connected the outlet on my box to the relay output ports on the STC 3008 but eventually figured out that one side had to be hooked up to an input voltage. The model I have is the 115v source model but there is also a 12/24v source model available. To clarify a couple of points, if the up/on temperature is lower than the off/down temperature then the output is set for heating. If the up/on temperature is higher than the off/down temperature then the output is set for cooling. To adjust the blue temperatures, you use the two lower up/down arrows.
