Woodturning 101 - Video 9 - Turning a Goblet

In this Woodturning 101 Workshop Demonstration, Master Woodturner Kirk DeHeer takes you step by step through the process of creating a beautifully turned goblet.  

In this video, you’ll see how to properly use the spindle gouge, roughing gouge, skew chisel, and parting tool. Also covered in detail are chucking, sanding, and finishing for optimum results.  As with all types of turnings, elements of good design and proportion are very important and are covered in this video as well.
