Made with all the flavours and ingredients of a traditional ANZAC biscuit, this chocolate caramel slice combines that familiar oaty and golden syrup taste with luscious homemade caramel filling which is then finished off with chocolate and more cooked crumbled biscuit.  The soft choc caramel on a crunchy ANZAC biscuit base is the perfect afternoon tea snack or dessert.

This ANZAC biscuit recipe originally featured in the Fairy Baking cookbook of early Australian classic baking recipes and has been adopted for the modern, busy home cook.
