China has been supplying Pakistan with most of its weapons systems for some years now. As Pakistan’s relationship has soured with the United States in the past two decades, Pakistan’s armed forces have largely looked towards Chinese suppliers for equipment. While China has long supplied Pakistan’s armed forces, the relationship has deepened in recent years, with Pakistan making major purchases of top-of-the-line Chinese export equipment.
In the current list, Pakistan Army is the 9th most powerful Army in the world. Pakistan Army is the 9th most powerful Army in the world according to the latest rankings. It is ranked at 9th spot out of 140 countries in the annual Global Firepower Index.
Pakistan appears to have six currently operational nuclear-capable land-based ballistic missiles: the short-range Abdali (Hatf-2), Ghaznavi (Hatf-3), Shaheen-I (Hatf-4), and NASR (Hatf-9), and the medium-range Ghauri (Hatf-5) and Shaheen-II (Hatf-6).
