Synopsis :
Durdhara reaches the temple to convey the message to the priest. To her surprise, the disguised priest is none other than Chandragupta. He confesses his feeling for her and also tells her how important she is in his life. However, their happiness lasts only for a moment as Ambhikumar interrupts and attacks Chandragupta. Chandragupta is shocked when Ambhikumar tells him that he is going to marry Durdhara right in front of him. A heartbroken Chandragupta leaves from there, but is attacked by Dhananand and his army. Ambhikumar stabs Chandragupta from behind. As Dhananand approaches to attack Chandragupta, Durdhara risks her life and jumps along with Chandragupta from the cliff.
पुजारी को संदेश देने के लिए दुर्धरा मंदिर पहुंचती है। उसके आश्चर्य के लिए, प्रच्छन्न पुजारी कोई और नहीं बल्कि चंद्रगुप्त है। वह उसके लिए अपनी भावना को कबूल करता है और उसे यह भी बताता है कि वह उसके जीवन में कितनी महत्वपूर्ण है। हालाँकि, उनकी खुशी केवल एक पल के लिए ही रहती है क्योंकि अंभिकुमार बीच में आकर चंद्रगुप्त पर हमला करता है। चंद्रगुप्त चौंक जाता है जब अंभिकुमार उसे बताता है कि वह उसके सामने दुर्धरा से शादी करने जा रहा है। एक दिल टूटा हुआ चंद्रगुप्त वहां से चला जाता है, लेकिन धनानंद और उसकी सेना द्वारा हमला किया जाता है। अंभिकुमार ने चंद्रगुप्त को पीछे से छुरा घोंपा। जैसे ही धनानंद चंद्रगुप्त पर हमला करने के लिए पहुंचता है, दुर्धरा अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर चंद्रगुप्त के साथ चट्टान से कूद जाती है।
