How to Play Split Screen in COD Modern Warfare 3 (Two Players)

To play split screen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on PS5, follow these steps:

Connect a second controller to your PS5 console.
Log in to the second controller with a separate account.
Start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
From the main menu, select Multiplayer.]

Follow the prompt in the top right corner of the screen to start split-screen by connecting a second controller.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be shown the button to press for Player 2 to join split screen.

Please note that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 only supports two players for split-screen multiplayer. Also, not all game modes support split-screen multiplayer. Here’s a list of supported game modes:

3rd Person Moshpit
Search And Destroy
Headquarters
Kill Confirmed
Hardpoint
Prisoner Rescue
Domination
Team Deathmatch
Knock Out

Players can also use Quick Play to start a split-screen multiplayer match, but they’ll need to filter out Free-For-All, or it won’t allow them to start. Private Matches also support split-screen multiplayer and lets players play Free-For-All, so players who wish to play that game mode can create a Private Match
