1950 Allard J2 Competition 2-Seater Full Size Wings & Engine Sound - My Car Story with Lou Costabile

On "My Car Story" we're in the West Suburbs of Chicago on 8-18-17.

We're looking at a 1950 Allard J2 Competition 2-Seater with the optional “Full Size Wings” (Fenders) in Silver / Gray Paint.

The car's Owner is Dave Hans.  Dave’s had this car since 1987.  He found the car in a advertisement in the paper, and the car did not look like it does today.  There were 89 cars built and this is the only one known to have the optional “Full Size Wings” or full size fenders that cover the wheels and flow down the body of the car making this one, a 1 of 1.

This restoration took 5 years and is stellar.  The car looks like it just came off the showroom floor.
