This week Nile's joined by Victor, as we produce our first episode of TestDrive Showdown in more than a year. Today we're looking at two compact executive sport sedans, the 2023 Kia Stinger GT Elite AWD and the 2023 Acura TLX Type-S SH-AWD, and trying to figure out which might be the best bang for your buck if you're looking at non German cars.
Our Stinger GT Elite is known as the GT2 in the US, and our TLX Type-S would come with the performance tires and rim package in the US. Aside from that the Acura TLX is not available in the US market with this paint and leather combo.
Victor and Nile go over the technical specifications of each car, their price points, the main selling factors for each one, and the reasons why you might consider one over the other. We also look at the exterior design of each, including the rear trunk space.
We then take each vehicle on the road at the same time to discuss our overall driving impressions of each car, and how they compare to one another as we drive them back to back on TestDrive Showdown.
