Glamp Review Ep. 8 | This Campground could be the Best camping in North Georgia Mountains. This is a hidden GEM! Its great for a quick stopover on your way to your next camping destination while RV camping in north Georgia mountains! Less than 30 minutes off I-75. This campground is next door to Carters Lake and only minutes from Apple Farms. The town of Ellijay is only 30 minutes away from 411 River Rest Campground. You can stay a little or stay a while here. Great staff that runs the place!

When is the Best time to visit 411 River Rest:
The Fall Foliage of the changing leaves is the best here! October would more than likely give you the best time to visit for the fall leaves during Halloween. Early November can also be a good time to visit as well but Mid October would be the best in our opinion for the color leaves. We went November 2 - 4 in 2023 and the leaves still had some color. But if we had visited just a few weeks before that would have been the best time. This is a little hidden gem of campground.
