This Beta Version did have a "power plan" bug so check the Asus support page for your motherboard for AI Suite III updates and the DIP5 update to fix the "Balanced" power plan bug that forces Windows into balanced power plan setting after every restart. (search or browser for your motherboard model to find the support page and go to the "Drivers and Tools" tab on the page and select Windows 10 from the OS drop down menu on that page to check for future AI Suite fixes and updates under the "Utilities" downloads section.

****The consensus is this fix DOES NOT WORK WITH AI SUITE II. Hopefully Asus will come out with a fix for AI Suite II soon as well. Make sure your system came originally equipped with AI Suite III. Older boards may use AI Suite II and are not being allowed to install AI Suite III with those boards. AI Suite II boards will receive an error stating their equipment is not compatible and is unable to install.

If you have issues upgrading AI Suite 3 to the Beta Fix that you downloaded from the ROG Forum above: Get the old version uninstalled completely! All remnants. Alternatively you can try and run the AI Suite Cleaner that was available previously from Asus. You can see a couple comment threads below where we did some troubleshooting to help get the update working using this method (see Tijs1012's and axkubota's comments below it helped get the issue fixed for them). Thanks to axkubota's suggestion, I am adding this info to the video description to make it easier for others to find who have similar issues.
The link from Asus ROG forum for the AI3Cleaner.exe sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, but I will include it below along with a link from one I had downloaded previously and uploaded to tinyupload. If you do have issues doing a standard install, try to run the AI Suite cleaner before installing the newer version. See if that removes the old installation completely. You could also install CCleaner (handy cleanup program to have around) and run the file "cleaner" and "registry" cleaner a couple of times to remove any stubborn, clinging corrupt software remnants from the system before clean installing again.

**Always use caution when downloading software from unauthorized links. The tinyupload link is the exact file I downloaded from the Asus ROG forum from RAJA@ASUS (Tech Marketing Manager HQ). Try to get it from the Asus forum page linked above--at the google drive link posted by Raja--
Download. For best practice get it from the verifiable source at the ROG Forum. But the tinyupload version is there as a last resort backup. Just always some concern with encouraging people to download executable files from unauthorized links. That said, there it is JIC :-/
