Spiti Valley, also known as cold desert has an altitude of 12,500 feet above sea level. Spiti is the home to several monasteries, the stunning Key Monastery is over a thousand years old and is also the largest monastery found in entire Spiti Valley. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of  the surrounding landscape.
Spiti is an adventure lover's paradise with a number of trekking trails and mountain passes.
Kaza is the district town of Lahaul and Spiti. It is a breathtaking place to visit and explore at least once in a lifetime. We visited Spiti Valley in September last year. Spent two nights in Kaza and explored nearby beautiful small villages, Longza, Komik, Hikkim, Key and Kibber.
