Yes! You heard that right. (or maybe you didn't?) This video will be unlisted upon Origin's release. I was struggling to decide if i even wanted to make this video. I of course didn't have time to make one in my usual scripted style. (Just look at my track record. I feel eternities pass between uploads.) And i feel something so divisive should be spoken about with more care. But the let's-play style with have to do. Initially i tried doing this rant audio-only into my condenser mic. But it felt even messier than this one. I hadn't even reviewed that audio actually. So i was gonna skip out on this one. But then i had some extra time and i felt it would be good to add to my video repertoire, so i set up and fumbled my way through this. It was an alright passage of time, but didn't feel great. Honestly these points don't affect my life too much, but i figured i had thought about a few of them enough, why not share them? But i also didn't want to go on whining in favor of a big company who may not even care about the consumer. Though i stand by my points for the most part. And what if it get clicks? They say no press is bad press, right? (And views are something i kiinda want more of.) In the end i figured since i did put at least some work into this, it would be a shame to scrap it outright. (And i liked the thought of showing a Mania Encore Mode playthrough on my channel.) Eh, what's it gonna hurt? Probably won't be watched much anyway. And maybe that's for the best? (Okay, I'm not THAT ashamed of it.) Actually, on my pre-export watch through i kinda liked alot of the sections. It's just not really something i'm passionate about. (I mean, not Sonic. He's rad. The complaining about other people's complaints thing.) In the end, i got inspiration from this very situation and decided i'd delist this video. But only after the game has come out. So there's a chance no one's even reading this right now. (Who really reads the description anyway, let alone some rambling.) But if that's true, then who are you? How'd you get here? Are you gonna stay long? Sorry i didn't expect guests. I mean, it's an open invitation. You're not unwelcomed. You know what? I'll leave the link available, but only in the description of a future video. A short one. Sonic Origins related. Though i have yet so many videos to finish up already. Ironically enough, Mario's next. Yet another video i intended on doing years ago. I should get back to that. Anyway, why's my export taking so long? It's late and i've got a trip to attend. (Also vaguely Sonic related. At least that's the inspiration behind it.) Alright, i've said enough probably. Oh yeah, Frontiers was another reason i was iffy on releasing this. I'm keeping my hopes high, but it's been a messy roll out for that footage. I'm sure the game will be fine. (and that newest footage is looking pretty solid.) But there was at least a drop of dread for what could become of it. And do i really want to defend Sega if THAT game isn't top-notch? That would really affect a big series i've got planned for this channel as well. You'll see it eventually. Okay I'm done i think.
P.S. The footage shown is not being played while recording this. You probably noticed. But i wanted that authentic rant-about-one-thing-but-focus-on-another-thing vibe. And at the very least give some connection between the game played and the video shown. I faked it, alright? but Team Fly sorta carried the team for most of this.
