Double fatal accident in southwest Houston after car splits in half | CW39 HOUSTON

HOUSTON (KIAH) -- Houston police are investigating a crash in that left two dead. It happened before 10 p.m. last night on Hillcroft and Fondren Road. Authorities said officers found a car that hit a pole near the Fondren off-ramp. That's where two men were found inside. One died at the scene. The other later died at the hospital. Witnesses said the vehicle was speeding towards the far right lane, trying to make a exit on Hillcroft. The force of the crash caused the vehicle to split in half.
