On July 15th, 1960, Democratic nominee and Presidential candidate John F. Kennedy hoped to inspire both his party and the nation with a rousing speech on the "New Frontiers" that stood before the U.S. Today, to honor his courage and vision, the Harvard Institute of Politics, in coordination with the JFK Presidential Library, presents the New Frontier Awards to two exceptional public servants every year.
