The Majapahit Empire applied four social strata like those in India, namely: Brahmins, Kesatriyas, Vaisyas, and Sudras. Then the three local social strata of Majapahit itself are Candela, Mleccha, and Tuccha. The people in the Majapahit kingdom area know the social strata.
Social status or social strata is a person's position in society. With the position held, a person will behave according to the status held in that environment.
