PFAS refers to per- and polyfluorinated substances.  PFAS are compounds that are used to create fluoropolymer coatings with industrial applications like heat, oil, stain, grease, and water resistance. However there are some risk factors associated with PFAS, and considering it is used in some forms of packaging, being aware of the regulations surrounding it is important!
