Banana Stem Recipes for Lunch / Three Variety Recipes / Thoran / Crispy Fry / Pulinkari

Ingredients:
For Thoran :
Banana Stem  - 2 piece
Grated coconut  - 1 cup ( 12 tbsp )
Crushed garlic  - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder  - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder  - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder  - 1 tsp
Cooked Toor dal  ( add 3 tbsp of Toor dal and 1/4 tsp of salt , 1 cup of water then pressure cook for 1 whistle  )
Coconut oil / Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp
Mustard - 3/4 tsp
Dry chilli  - 2
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Salt

For Pulinkari:
Banana Stem  - 1 piece
For grinding:
Grated coconut  - 1/2 cup ( 7 tbsp )
Chilli powder  - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder  - 1 tbsp
Roasted fenugreek powder  - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder  - 1/4 tsp
Shallots  - 25 ( medium  )
Green chilli  - 3
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Water - 2 cup ( for cooking banana stem  )
Tamarind
Hot water  - 1 3/4 cup
Salt
Sambar powder  - 1/2 tbsp
Asafoetida powder  - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
For tempering:
Coconut oil / Oil- 1 1/2 tbsp to 2 tbsp
Mustard  - 1/2 tsp
Shallots  - 2
Dry chilli  - 3
Curry leaves

For Crispy Fry :
Banana Stem - 1 piece ( 2 cup )
Crushed ginger & garlic  - 1 1/2 tsp
Corn flour  - 1 1/2 tbsp
Rice flour  - 1 tsp
Chilli powder  - 1 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder  - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder  - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida powder  - 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Salt
Oil ( for frying  )
