Most of the stroke symptoms occurs suddenly, without any warning. FAST is the easiest way to recognize the most common symptoms of #stroke or #paralysis. If someone is exhibiting signs and symptoms of a stroke, it’s important to think and act fast.
F for face: One side of the face droops
A for activity: Sudden weakness or numbness in your arms, legs or face
S for speech: Slurred speech
T for time: If you observe any of these signs, call doctor immediately
#1 One side of the face can become numb or droop.
#2 Sudden weakness or numbness in your arms, legs or face can be a warning sign. You may ask the person to smile, raise both arms or walk.
#3 Ask the person to repeat something. If the person is suffering from stroke, their speech may be slurred or garbled.
#4 If the person has any of these signs, it’s time to rush away to the hospital.
