This is a tutorial showing how to relock the bootloader on the moto g6 ,this method should also work with the moto g6 plus & g6 play JUST MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE CORECT STOCK FIRMWARE FOR YOUR DEVICES MODEL NUMBER..

im not sure if it works for the moto g6 plus or g6 play FEEL FREE TO TRY IT IF IT DOESNT WORK

Copy & Paste This Command into the black window of minimal adb & fastboot this will flash the stock firmware 1st

mfastboot oem fb_mode_set
mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin
mfastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img

mfastboot flash boot boot.img
mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img
mfastboot flash dsp adspso.bin
mfastboot flash oem oem.img
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.5
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.6
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.7
mfastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
mfastboot erase modemst1
mfastboot erase modemst2
mfastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
mfastboot erase cache
mfastboot erase userdata
mfastboot erase customize
mfastboot erase clogo
mfastboot oem fb_mode_clear
mfastboot reboot

STEP 2
Reboot again into your bootloader USING THE VOLUME AND POWER BUTTON COMBINATION SHOWN IN THE VIDEO
Now paste the Below following commands into the BLACK WINDOW

mfastboot oem lock
mfastboot oem lock
mfastboot flash oem oem.img
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.3
mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.4
mfastboot flash boot boot.img
mfastboot oem lock

Then reboot and viola your bootloader should be locked
