Delhi is reeling under a severe water crisis over the last month and taking advantage of this crisis is the city's private water tanker mafia, that is charging residents elevated rates for water. These tanker mafia are blatantly running operations is many parts of the city, feeding their business by capturing government borewells, diverting water pipelines and illegal private borewells.
