Simple fermented radishes are ready in a week! Eating probiotic foods like fermented radishes is good for gut health. Less than a week and the radishes are ready! 3 ingredients are essential but adding peppers, garlic and even dill will spice up these simple fermented radishes!

00:00 Introduction to simple fermented radishes

01:00 Use one fresh or dehydrated pepper or garlic, onions, or dill

02:00 Either cut the ends off of the radishes or discard the ends when using the hand-held slicer-slice all the radishes thin to fill the 2-quart jar
02:22 Fill the jar halfway, add the pepper and continue filling the jar to the top of the jar, leave a little headspace
02:38 Use a clean rolling pin to push down the radishes in the jar gently
03:35 Shake the brine and pour slowly into the canning jar to fill to the top
03:45 Use a stainless steel fork and slide down the inside edges to release the air bubbles
04:00 Place the glass weight on the radishes and push until the brine overfills the weight
04:10 Remove any floaters that may be over the glass weight
04:20 Put the silicone top and jar-ring on, snug down tightly
04:30 Check the radishes in 5-7 days depending on your level of fermenting taste
