Today's journey takes us on the Deutsche Bahn ICE 4 from Berlin to Halle (Saale) HBF. We will not stop at the usual train stations on the way, as we are running as an empty train. This means that there are no passengers on board the train, which is why there is no stop at the usual platforms, as there is no need to get on, off or change trains.
Because it is running without passengers, the train will not run with the usual priority of an ICE on the route network. Other trains such as ICEs, regional trains or freight trains can therefore have priority.
