Moire pattern effect

Once you start to pay attention to this, you will start seeing it everywhere. Sets of Vertical (parallel) or circular (concentric) lines can also be used to produce a similar effect. I should mention that the effect will be smaller and considerably less noticeable on YOUR device screen when viewing only the single insect screen, so don't be surprised if you can't even notice it at all. I also can't predict how or the degree to which your device will transmit It, so the best that I can do is point to the pattern for you, and perhaps you will be able to recognize it if and when you see it. This weirdness is just another visual/perceptual aberration, and as such, it is unintentional; this is just one of the wonderful side effects of our being such good pattern-recognizing machines- because empirically, the designs aren't even there.
