Rockwell OV-10 Bronco:60 Year old Attack Aircraft

The North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco indeed had a significant role as a twin-turboprop light attack and observation aircraft during the 1960s, particularly in counter-insurgency combat. Its capability to serve as a forward air control (FAC) aircraft was crucial in coordinating air support for ground forces. With a capacity to carry up to 3,200 pounds of external munitions and the flexibility to transport paratroopers or stretchers internally, it was a versatile aircraft for various missions. Additionally, its ability to loiter for extended periods, often three hours or more, made it effective for surveillance and support operations.
