Celestial Nadaswaram Vidwan Chakravarthy Kalaimamani Padmasri Dr. Sheik Chinna Moulana is an Asthana player of Tirumala Devastom and Srirangam. This Classical Instrumental Jukebox contains the Best Carnatic Instrumental songs of the maestro. Sheik Chinna Moulana’s career took off in the early 1960s. The maestro decided to make the pilgrimage town of SriRangam his home. He popularly had known as Sheik. Sheik Chinna Moulana was a legendary Nadhaswaram player of the Carnatic music. He acquired the high position through his wonderful control over the instrument. The Nadhaswaram’s use as a solely temple-based instrument for daily prayers and processions was slowly introduced to a more public and secular platform by royal families and later, the landed gentry. It is a little initiative to celebrate the birthday of the maestro and to show our respect through this compilation.
