Why I'm Studying a PhD With ECU's School of Nursing & Midwifery - Esther's Story

Esther completed her undergraduate Nursing studies in Ghana, and has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for 9 years. She works primarily with children and young families, and premature babies in neonatal intensive care. Esther was inspired to return to study when she started in the neonatal intensive care unit. She's currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), exploring the experiences of parents caring for their preterm infants.
