Hello Kitty and Friends Vanity Mirror | Hello Kitty Crafts

Hello Friends! Today we’re going to make a special DIY Hello Kitty and Friends vanity mirror out of air clay featuring adorable Hello Kitty and Friends elements. You can elevate your room or bathroom decor with this DIY mirror and write affirmations right on the mirror, so when you look into it, you read a positive message.

Materials Needed:
Brown, blue, gray and yellow fine tip markers
Pink, white, yellow, orange, blue, brown and black air clay
Erasable marker
Clay shaping tools
Vanity mirror
Heart shaped cookie cutter

Step-by-Step Instructions:
(00:59) Step 1: Roll white clay air clay into a tube and wrap into a small spiral. Combine white and blue clay to make light blue. Roll that into a tube and begin making a rainbow by coiling it around the white spiral.
(01:16) Step 2: To complete the rainbow, repeat the same process from step 1 using yellow, orange and pink clay. Once the rainbow is completed, let it harden a little and then place it at the top of the vanity mirror.
(01:30) Step 3: Make more light blue clay and place a long tube along the sides and bottom of your mirror. Next, add white circles that look like clouds to the bottom of the mirror. Using the cookie cutter, cut out pink and white hearts and place them wherever you want on your mirror.
(01:49) Step 4: To make a Hello Kitty’s bow, using pink clay form two flat disks and press a dimple into each one and connect them with a smaller flat circle. Add another white swirl at the top of the mirror and place Hello Kitty’s bow on top. Add smaller bows as decoration wherever you want on your mirror. Make stars to add to your mirror out of white clay using clay shaping tools.
(02:22) Step 5: To make Pompompurin use light yellow clay and form his head. Add his ears, beret made with brown clay and draw on his face with a marker and place him on the mirror.
(02:37) Step 6: To make Cinnamoroll, using white clay form his head and ears so that his face is shorter and his ears stick out more. Draw on his face with blue and pink markers and place him on the mirror.
(02:46) Step 7: To make Hello Kitty, form white clay into an oval with ears on top. Add another small bow and use black clay for her whiskers and eyes and yellow for her nose. Lastly, make My Melody and put her on the mirror by Hello Kitty. After you’ve finished adding all the Hello Kitty and Friends elements, let the clay dry overnight before using the mirror.

This will make getting ready extra fun! If you want to remind yourself of a positive affirmation you can write it directly on the mirror with an erasable marker with messages like, "I believe in myself.”
