After several requests, Gregsynthbootlegs has decided to upload the very first show of the North American Hot Space Tour! This concert is in excellent quality for the most part (there's a slightly inferior source used to patch up gaps), and it is complete! Although I am not huge fan of the this tour leg overall, there are still some great performances throughout, and I won't let personal bias get in the way!
Freddie's voice is in good shape overall, but there's clearly a big difference between his voice here, and the European Leg. His timbre is starting to roughen up, and some early signs of his Works Tour voice are becoming apparent (barking out 4th octave notes, the "Italian Baritone" vibrato is starting to come into effect, etc). I always wondered why his voice changed between the tour legs: Was it the lack of touring? Partying? Age? I dunno! Maybe you subscribers can help me out (I don't always have the answers)! LOL
