Have you been loading Revit families wrong this whole time?

So say you've downloaded a window or door family but it has no types built in. Do you have to now manually make a tonne of types for it to be useful?

Luckily, if a revit family comes with a .txt file, you can load it into Revit and Revit will load all of the pre-made types automatically, saving you hours potentially!

I'm usually a 'drag and drop' guy, but this is the exception.
