(G-JMAB) Boeing 757-3CQ, fantastic RB211 roar on takeoff from London Gatwick Airport to Grenoble Isere in Lyon on the 28/02/15
A flight video including the taxi, takeoff, approach and landing of flight TCX1468.
A great flight with Thomas Cook Airlines on board one of two Boeing 757-300's based in the U.K. Very quick flight as even the captain explained that he is used to places more further afield. Amazing engine sound and very loud thrust reduction after departing Gatwick's runway 26L. Excellent views of France and a nice approach into Grenoble, runway 09. A very unusual occurrence when pulling up to the stand at Grenoble. We were made to shut down the engines on the taxiway whilst they pushed us almost perpendicular to the stand! Overall a nice flight -especially for the price. This is now my second time on the 757-300, I flew on G-JMAA to Fuerteventura almost a year ago.
