I would recommend starting your day in London from:
✅ Tower Bridge
🚇 London Bridge, Monument or Tower Hill
I would highly advise to start your day from Tower Bridge. The nearest tube station is Tower Bridge - right next to the Shard.
You can visit Tower Bridge Exhibition!
The Tower Bridge Exhibition is also famous for its Glass Floor which offers an incredible view of the city below, and the River Thames – you might even get to see the bridge being raised!
Tower Bridge has 206 steps
Upon entering the North Tower, you can either walk up 206 steps or take a lift to reach the top. From here, you can walk across the bridge using the east and west walkways.

You can also Enjoy a 90 minute guided tour of Tower Bridge led by one of its expert guides.

London Eye was open in 2000.
A ride on the London Eye takes 30 minutes, and it travels at a speed of about 0.6 miles per hour.

The Eye has 32 capsules (one for each of the city's 32 boroughs), but they're numbered from one to 33. Why? As with many buildings and other structures, there is no No. 13 capsule—whether the superstition about that number is warranted or not, the cars skip from 12 to 14.
