There is no big reason
There is no big reason behind this video other than I saw this gem parked at Ebisu Circuit, and all of us have always lusted after old D1GP cars, and I wanted to touch the car. Shooting a video of it gave me a good excuse to touch it. The Kawabata Toyo Tires S13 was one of those cars that went viral when it did one of the first rememberable backwards entries that blew everyones mind, in a perfect and clean fashion. It was captured beautifully by Option Video and immortalized. It lived out it's life as a championship winning monster, and now is off to new pastures. I hope it has another wonderful chapter to it's life!
