How to Add Dynamic Country State City Selection for WordPress Contact Form? Knowing your customers is vital part part of any business. Every website has got a contact form. Why not add a dynamic location (country, state, city) selector in contact form to collect proper location information from your customer? In this video we will create Country Dropdown select field with dynamic states and cities in contact form 7. You know you will have a hard time in creating countries list for contact form 7 manually. So here is the solution.
Go to plugins and search 'Country State City'. Install and activate the plugin. This plugin adds three new form tag fields in Contact form 7. It will add countries name in standard drop-down field of contact form 7. States and cities will auto populate according to selected parent. This plugin requires Contact form 7 plugin.
By the way you can also choose to display only country drop down if you like. Create a dummy page. Create a contact form from contact form 7 and add Country, State and City tags. Use contact form template in page and see frontend. You will have a page that will ask visitor to choose Country, State and City. State and City will be auto populated according to parent selection. So this is how easy it is to add countries states and cities to a WordPress site.
Do not forget to include these tags in email template for same form settings so that you may receive the location information from visitor in your email.
