Dragon Chicken is a popular
Dragon Chicken is a popular Indo-Chinese dish known for its spicy, tangy flavor.
Ingredients:
500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp soy sauce
Black pepper (crushed )1tbsp
Salt to taste
For Batter
2 tbsp cornflour
•
Egg 1
All purpose flour
Black pepper crushed 1tbsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Chilli flakes 1tbsp
Oregano 1/2tbsp
Water 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chili sauce
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Vegetable for Recipe
Oil 2 tbsp
1 onion, finely chopped
1 capsicum, thinly sliced
3-4 green chilies, slit
2 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
Oil 2 tbsp
For Garnishing
Spring onion
Sesame seeds
Cashwnut
Instructions:
Marinate the chicken pieces in soy sauce, salt, black pepper powder. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare Sauce:
Soya Sauce 1tbsp
Chilli sauce 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 3tbsp
Vinegar 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tbsp
Mix well keep aside
Heat oil in a pan and dip the marinated chicken into all purpose flour mixture and then fry until golden brown and cooked through. Drain excess oil on paper towels and set aside.
In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger. Saute for a minute.
Add the chopped onion, sliced capsicum. Saute on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
Add soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar, and salt mixture Mix well.
Add the fried chicken pieces to the sauce. Toss everything together until the chicken is well coated with the sauce.add slit green chilies
Garnish with chopped spring onions and Sesame seeds and Cashwnut serve hot.#healthyrecipes
