In this video you will learn what are the different action modes used in Tosca and how to use Select, Verify and Constraint Action mode to steer Table controls.

Action Modes are used to steer the test objects.
It defines how the value in the Value field will be applied for Test Step values in order to steer the control.
ActionModes available on XStepValue depend on the InterfaceType(GUI/non-GUI) of the referenced Xmodule.

Different Action Modes:
1. Input – It is used to transfer values to test objects like inputting values into EditBox
2. Insert – It allows to create objects in non UI interface environments like XML file
3. Buffer – If input values are needed more than once they can be buffered using this action mode
4. Constraint – It limits the search for a superordinate node and is mostly used with Tables
5. Verify – It allows values and control properties in test objects to be verified
6. WaitOn – It stops the execution of TestCase until the property has the specified value
7. Select – It allows to select specified nodes
