RUSSIAN recruits have undergone military
RUSSIAN recruits have undergone military training after President Vladimir Putin ordered a mass mobilisation to support his war effort in Ukraine.
On September 28, the country’s defence ministry stated that training for newly mobilised reservists had started across Russia, in places including the Rostov region on the Ukrainian border and the Crimean peninsula which has been under the control of Russia since 2014.
On Sept. 21, Putin declared partial mobilisation in the country, which affects some 300,000 people between the ages of 18 and 50.
Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu said on Oct. 4 that more than 200,000 people have reported to service under partial mobilisation.
