Prasar Bharati Central Archives presents a rare Interview with the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa on his birth anniversary.  

Field Marshal K. M. Cariappa was the first Indian Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army. Born on 28 January 1899. His distinguished military career spanned almost three decades. He led Indian forces on the Western Front during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.
