Papermaking with Mark Lander Part 11 The Swamp Creature

Here we have some fun introducing a new invention, A  machine for stripping the fibre from Harakeke or NZ flax.    Here in New Zealand this was a big industry, even my ancestors, the Bee Brothers owned a Flax mill.   When they started it up it could be heard running five miles away!   The last mill closed many years ago.
 I have spent the last two years dreaming up this small version... one leaf at a time, it is very handy for preparing the fibre for papermaking , ropemaking and Flax for weaving.  This ones for Pania,   she will test it for me  ...very exciting!
