Today we're demonstrating how to get the most out of a simple business card design when printing with only one color. From the letterpress department at Jukebox, we give you an inside look at how multiple paper colors can make your next print project pop! https://www.jukeboxprint.com

Featuring the design work of Abby Haddican and paper stocks from ColorPlan.

Making the biggest impact with a simple design is the best way to communicate professionalism and sophistication. The ColorPlan Collection from G.F. Smith Papers is a toothy, uncoated, and thick stock that stands out. Measuring at 18pts in thickness, these papers can handle a deep impression of ink, foil, or embossed designs.

Using a few different colors will help a simple design really stand out. In this video, you'll see one of our presses running up ink and printing using a relief process that pushes the ink deep into the paper. This style of printing is called letterpress and it's one of the oldest and highest quality printing processes available. Simplicity is best for deep impression printing and Abby's business card is the perfect design to show off this unique process.

This is the first of our design spotlight series! If you are an inspiring designer working in print please reach out with your unique designs. We plan to feature designers from around the world and their creative works. Contact me at [email protected]
