Blocking an email address using your phone (Gmail) If you want to block an email address on your phone in the Gmail app, you need to do exactly the same. Open the Gmail app, click on a message from the sender you want to block, press the three dots, and choose Block. How to block an email address on iPhone (Mail app) If you use the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad, open the Mail app, press on the Sender (From: [address]), and choose Block.
