The South Korean government on Wednesday will announce the full details of the country’s first-ever unified foreign policy for the Indo-Pacific region.
According to Seoul’s foreign ministry, the presidential office will release a report on the strategy, followed by a briefing from the ministry.
President Yoon has already introduced key elements of the strategy in Cambodia in November,
Those elements include freedom, peace, and prosperity in the region, which has been gaining strategic importance amid the escalating competition between the U.S. and China.
This strategy comes as part of South Korea's vision to become a global pivotal state that plays an important role in global governance.
