McElroy Tritan™ 560 - Rethinking Work From the Ground Up

The Tritan™ 560 brings a new level of efficiency and safety when working with 12" to 22" pipe sizes (315mm to 560mm). The self-contained turbo diesel engine and rugged dual rubber tracks allow the machine to be driven directly to the fusion site. With its 6-motion boom arm that provides 30º of curl, 65" of vertical travel, and 12" of lateral extension, plus a carriage that swings a full 360º, the Tritan is prepared to meet the pipe where it lays on the job site.

A revolutionary combination of features allows Tritan operators to load pipe into the carriage without the aid of extra pipe-handling equipment. The Tritan utilizes a unique bottom-loading carriage which eliminates the need to lift pipe overhead and into the machine. Taking operator safety a step further, the Tritan uses wireless controls that allow a single operator to manipulate the pipe, load the carriage, and fuse with added visibility and machine control.

The Tritan is one of McElroy's most technologically advanced machines to date. Both machine and fusion controls are done through the DataLogger® tablet. The integrated software automatically documents the entire fusion process and incorporates the FusionGuide™ Control System. This system allows operators to choose between three different levels of machine control – from manual to fully automatic.
