AXTS Raptor Charging Handle Review

Today on FunwiththeGun, we're reviewing the AXTS Raptor charging handle.  The Raptor is a direct upgrade over the traditional charging handle you find on far too many AR-15's these days.  the AXTS Raptor has massively oversized claws on either side for ambidexterous charging.  The front and back of each latch is textured for grip, and in my experiences with it, it works extremely well both with gloves, and without.  You're never going to bop yourself in the nose while charging an Raptor equipped AR with one hand.  The only downside to this particular charging handle, is cost.  You can generally find Raptors between $80 - $90 which is quite a lot of money to spend on a charging handle, when there are toher options out there for much less.  I think that if AXTS were to significantly drop the price of their raptors, it would be the charging handle to end all others.  Overall, 8/10  -2 points for the extremely high price.
